Other pump applications: A sewage pump makes a great pump for community ponds and waterfalls. This type of pump can handle the solids and debris that collect in a community pond like leaves or trash. Where as a regular pond pump would clog because it cannot handle any debris, restricting the water flow thru the pump and burning the motor. This type of pump will allow your community pond to operate without trouble in between maintenance.

Sewage ejector pumps, or sewage grinder pumps, are designed to pump residential or household sewage or blackwater to a destination such as an elevated septic tank or to a city sewer (for homes whose lower baths are at a depth below the level of their sewer line). Important tips - The Length of the horizontal pipe is also an important factor when choosing a sewage or grinder pump. Every 10’ of pipe equals the same restrictions as 1’ of lift. The shut off means that is the maximum height that the sewage or grinder pump will lift. So you will get "0" flow at the shut off height.
